China has approved a plan to establish a national park at Qinghai Lake in northwest Qinghai province, local authorities said Tuesday. Gao Jingyu, deputy director of the protection and utilization administration in the Qinghai Lake scenic area, said the administration will strive to complete the Qinghai Lake National Park by 2024.
6月7日,青海湖景区保护利用管理局副**高静宇表示,青海湖国家公园创建申请已正式获批,将力争在2024年完成青海湖国家公园设立工作。
Qinghai Lake, located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is the country's largest inland saltwater lake, with an area of 4,625.6 square km in 2021.
青海湖位于青藏高原东北部,2021年水体面积达4625.6平方公里,是我国最大的咸水湖。
It is an important ecological barrier in northern China and a key stopover site for migrant birds.
青海湖是我国北方重要的生态屏障,是候鸟迁徙途中重要停歇地与中转站。

China's Palace Museum, also known as Forbidden City, reopened to the public on Tuesday. Entry will be capped at 75 percent of maximum capacity, and visitors are required to present negative nucleic acid test results within 72 hours, and undergo body temperature and health code checks, according to an official statement.
故宫博物院于6月7日起,按照75%限流要求恢复开放。根据故宫博物院发布的公告,入院观众须持有72小时核酸检测阴性证明,配合测温和健康宝查验。
The museum was temporarily closed starting May 12, due to a resurgence of COVID-19 infections in Beijing.
根据北京**防控形势,故宫博物院于5月12日起暂时闭馆。

US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on Sunday that President Joe Biden has asked his team to look at the option of lifting some tariffs on China that were put into place by former President Donald Trump, to combat the current high inflation.

"We are looking at it. In fact, the president has asked us on his team to analyze that. And so we are in the process of doing that for him, and he will have to make that decision," Raimondo told CNN in an interview on Sunday.
